    Heat pumps, drawn and built
    under one roof

Fourteen years designing and building heat pumps in Maharashtra, and five thousand of them now running across the country. We draw them, build them, test them and stand behind them — so the answer on sizing comes from the people who made the machine.

    Heat pump range

Every Sunniva machine does the same thing — moves heat instead of burning something to make it — and what separates them is how hot they will take the water, and how much of it. So start with the temperature, then read down.

    Working principle

A heat pump moves heat instead of making it. That single difference is why it returns three to four units of heat for one unit of electricity, which nothing that burns or glows can do. The picture first; the four components underneath, for anyone who wants them.

1 unit of electricity — the only part you pay for Outdoor air warm enough, even in winter 3 units of heat, free Sunniva heat pump 4 units of heat Hot water for the building Where the heat actually comes from Heat pump 4 units of heat Electric geyser 1 unit of heat electricity you pay for heat pulled out of the air, free Drawn at a COP of 4. Across our air-source range the published figure runs from about 3 to 6, depending on the machine, the water temperature and the weather — and every data sheet states which.
    1

    Evaporator

Ambient air — even cold air — boils the refrigerant and gives up its heat.

    2

    Compressor

The vapour is compressed, which raises its temperature well above the water you want to heat.

    3

    Condenser

The hot vapour gives that heat to your water and condenses back to a liquid.

    4

    Expansion valve

Pressure drops, the liquid cools below ambient, and the cycle starts again.

    Benefits

Three reasons, in the order customers usually rank them.

    Energy savings

A heat pump moves heat rather than making it, so it delivers three to four units of heat for one unit of electricity. Against a geyser or a diesel boiler that is where the running cost collapses.

    Sustainable

No flue, no combustion, no fuel on site. Lower emissions than anything that burns, and lower still behind a rooftop solar array.

    Low maintenance, long life

No burner to service, no flue to clean, no fuel to handle. Fewer moving parts than a boiler and a working life measured in decades.

    Support

Two very different customers, and we are set up for both: the client who wants hot water and one number to call, and the dealer who owns the relationship and needs real engineering behind him.

    For end clients

Turnkey, and one number to call

You are buying hot water, not a heat pump. We take the job from the first site visit to the annual service, and stay the single accountable party the whole way.

    1. Survey and loadWe measure the real draw-off — occupancy, fittings, peak hours, incoming water temperature — instead of sizing off a rule of thumb.
    2. System designMachine, storage, pumps, pipe sizing, electricals and plant-room layout, drawn before anything is ordered.
    3. Supply and installDelivered, positioned, piped, wired and commissioned by our own people or under our supervision.
    4. Handover and AMCYour staff trained on the controller, readings logged at handover, and a service contract if you want one.
    For dealers and consultants

You own the customer. We give you the engineering, the paperwork and the service backup so you can quote with confidence and not get caught out on site.

    1. Design supportSend us the brief and our team sizes it with you — selection, storage, schematic and plant-room layout, under your name.
    2. Data and submittalsData sheets with capacity at every certified ambient, dimensions, electricals and clearance drawings — whatever the consultant asks for.
    3. CommercialA current channel-partner price list, quick quotations, and clear lead times you can commit to.

Neither promise means anything without people on the ground to keep it. That is what the numbers above are for.

    Factory

Made in India is a supply chain here, not a sticker. Our own design team draws the machine and our own line at Asangaon builds it — including the ceramic-lined storage vessels. That control is why a non-standard duty is a conversation rather than a refusal, and why six days is a lead time we can actually offer.

    Tested before it ships

Every unit is run and logged before it leaves. Rigorous inspection is the only reason a six-day lead time is safe to offer.

    Supply chain and logistics

Components from established brands, each with its own test report, and freight partners who move plant rather than parcels.

Tell our calculator about the job rather than the machine — the building, the pool or the process — and it works backwards to the plant. No form, no email wall, no salesman in the middle.
