All in one — heat pump and tank in a single cabinet

An integrated unit where the heated refrigerant runs through a heat exchanger wrapped around the outside of the tank, under the insulation. One unit, one connection, nothing to plumb between.

Is this the right range for you?

Two minutes here saves a wasted quotation. The boundaries below are the published ones, not sales judgement.

Yes, if all of these are true

  • A home, villa or farmhouse — one household, one tank
  • 80 to 500 litres a day is enough
  • You want the simplest possible installation
  • There is space for a cylinder indoors or on a balcony

Silent operation

Benefits

What this range does for the building, rather than what is in the box.

One cabinet, one connection

Heat pump, tank and controls arrive as a single unit. No separate pump, no interconnecting pipework, no plant room.

Saves floor space

The footprint of a tank, doing the job of a tank and a machine.

Nothing to design

Sized by tank volume rather than by kilowatts, which is how a home actually buys hot water.

Which size do you need?

Our domestic sizing tool is in preparation. In the meantime the calculator index will point you to the right tool, or tell us how many people the house serves and we will size it for you.

And what every Sunniva heat pump gives you

True of the whole range, not just this one.

  • Up to 75 % off water heating against electric, LPG or PNG
  • Quick payback and strong return on investment
  • The longest product life of any common water-heating technology
  • Silent operation
  • Hot water round the year, independent of sunlight
  • Lower carbon emissions
  • Negligible maintenance cost
  • Saves space against a boiler or a solar-thermal field

Common questions

The ones our engineers are actually asked.

How many people does each tank size serve?
As a rough guide, allow 40 to 60 litres of hot water per person per day for a home. A 200 litre unit suits a family of three or four; 300 to 500 litres suits a large villa or a farmhouse with guests. Ask us and we will size it against your actual fittings.
Does it work in winter?
The published operating range differs by model — the smallest unit is rated from 5 °C ambient and the larger ones from −5 °C. Capacity falls as the air cools, which is normal. If your winter is genuinely cold, the EVI range is built for it.
Can it replace my solar water heater?
It can, and it can also sit behind one. A heat pump gives hot water at four in the morning and through a week of cloud, which is where solar thermal struggles. Many installations keep the solar panel and add the heat pump as backup.
