    The compressor is the machine. These are the two brands that hold their output through a decade of Indian duty cycles.

    Where “up to 75 %” comes from

    Our own commercial calculator, at its default 6,000 litres a day at 55 °C: the heat pump costs about ₹560 a day to run, an electric geyser ₹2,182 and a diesel boiler ₹2,492. That is 74 % against the geyser and 77 % against diesel — so the claim is, if anything, conservative. Put your own tariff and your own litres into the calculator and it will tell you your number rather than ours.

    Common questions

    The ones our engineers are actually asked.

    How much roof or terrace space do I need?
    A 25 kW machine is 800 × 800 mm on plan; a 200 kW machine is 2,200 × 2,100. Add a metre in front of the coil for air, and half a metre behind. Every datasheet carries the clearance drawing and the plinth size for that model.
    What happens on a cold winter morning?
    Capacity falls as the air cools — that is physics, not a defect, and every Sunniva datasheet publishes the figure at 20, 15, 10 and 5 °C rather than quoting only the best one. Below about 5 °C the SE-AH range runs out of published data and the EVI range takes over, which is why the calculator switches ranges on its own as you drag the temperature down.
    Do I still need a storage tank?
    Yes, and it is not optional. A heat pump is sized on the day's energy, not on the peak draw — the tank rides the morning rush while the machine works steadily. Two to six times the hourly output is the rule, and the calculator sizes it alongside the machine.
    Can I run more than one machine?
    Usually you should. Two smaller machines often fit a duty far more closely than one large one, and they let you run at part load between peaks. The calculator searches every combination and shows the alternatives, including an optional standby unit.
    What electrical supply does it need?
    Three-phase, 380–415 V. Each datasheet states the rated current, the MCB and the cable size for that model.
