When the catalogue does not have it — we build it
Thirteen ranges cover most of what a building or a plant needs. This is for the rest: a duty above the standard range, a water that would eat an ordinary exchanger, an ambient nobody designs for, or a refrigerant your reporting position requires. Configure it and our engineering team comes back with the machine, the price and a delivery time.
There is no model table on this page, and there will not be one: every machine in this range is built to its own specification. Each one gets its own technical data sheet with its measured performance once it is built — the same document the published ranges carry. Configure the job below and our engineering team comes back with the machine.
Is this the right range for you?
Two minutes here saves a wasted quotation. The boundaries below are the published ones, not sales judgement.
Yes, if all of these are true
- The duty, the temperature or the ambient is outside the published ranges
- The water would destroy a standard exchanger
- Your reporting position calls for a particular refrigerant
- You need BMS or IoT integration as part of the machine
- You want several machines to behave as one plant
Look at another range if
- A published range already covers it — that is cheaper and faster — see See the whole range
- You need it off the shelf next week — see Commercial Heat Pump
Applications
Where this range is normally installed.
Key features
What is inside the cabinet, and why each of them is there.
Any duty — the standard range stops at 200 kW, this does not
Larger duties are met with a 6- or 8-compressor frame, or with several machines sequenced by an advanced controller so the plant behaves as one machine on one setpoint.
Cabinet in MS with powder coating, or SS 304
Stainless throughout where the cabinet itself has to survive the environment — coastal air, wash-down areas, food and pharma.
BMS integration, IoT monitoring, or both
A point on your own head-end, a dashboard you can open from anywhere, or both together.
Every scroll compressor make
Copeland, Panasonic, Danfoss, GMCC, Invotech, Xecom, Hanbell. If a site standard or a service contract ties you to one, say so.
New-age refrigerants — R1234ze, R515B, and the rest
R410A, R134a, R1234ze, R515B, R245fa, or a cascade of two in series. Delivery temperature sets what is possible; your F-gas and reporting position often set what is preferred.
Condensers to suit the water, not the catalogue
Coil in shell and tube in shell for hard, dirty or fouling water. Titanium for chloride. A stainless-brazed plate exchanger where the water would attack the copper braze in a standard plate unit.
Down to −35 °C ambient
Enhanced vapour injection, or a cascade cycle where the delivery temperature calls for it.
Cascading cycles, and simultaneous heating and cooling
Two refrigerants in series to reach 120 °C from ambient air; or chilled water off the evaporator while the condenser makes hot water, from one machine.
Benefits
What this range does for the building, rather than what is in the box.
The duty is worked out before anyone quotes
The configurator computes the kilowatts, the flow, the pipe size and the buffer volume from your own figures. That is the part that usually gets argued about, and it is settled before our team even sees the enquiry.
You get an engineer's answer, not a catalogue's
A machine designed around your process rather than the nearest standard model with a compromise attached.
Nothing is invented to win the enquiry
The configurator quotes no capacity and no COP for a machine that has not been designed, and no price for one that has not been costed. What it does do is flag the conflicts in your configuration before they become a problem on site.
Configure it, and send it to our engineers
The configurator works out the duty from your flow and temperatures, records the build you want, and flags anything in the combination that needs a second look — a refrigerant that will not reach your delivery temperature, a condenser that will not survive your water. It arrives with our engineering team as a complete enquiry.
And what every Sunniva heat pump gives you
True of the whole range, not just this one.
- Up to 75 % off water heating against electric, LPG or PNG
- Quick payback and strong return on investment
- The longest product life of any common water-heating technology
- Silent operation
- Hot water round the year, independent of sunlight
- Lower carbon emissions
- Negligible maintenance cost
- Saves space against a boiler or a solar-thermal field
Common questions
The ones our engineers are actually asked.
Why is there no price on this page?
How large can you actually go?
Can you reach 120 °C from ambient air?
What is the lead time?
Do the custom machines get a data sheet?
Downloads and related ranges
Performance figures are published test data at the stated conditions and are not a guarantee for a specific installation. Draw-off pattern, pipe runs, water quality, static head and local code all affect the final selection — confirm with Sunniva Encon LLP before ordering.
