A Sunniva assessor watches you carry out real tasks at the Sunniva factory in Asangaon or on a site, and scores each task from 0 to 3. Your practical score carries 50% of the final result.

What you will be asked to do

1. Site survey and placement
2. Water piping: valves, strainer, flow switch, air vent, insulation
3. Brazing with a nitrogen purge
4. Pressure and leak test with nitrogen
5. Evacuation and vacuum hold
6. Refrigerant charging by weight
7. Electrical work, earthing, insulation-resistance test and lock-out/tag-out
8. Start-up and commissioning readings, capacity and COP
9. A fault-finding exercise on a simulated fault
10. Handover and documentation

Any act that puts people or equipment at risk stops the assessment.
