Sunniva Encon LLP (“Sunniva”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you — including when you communicate with us over WhatsApp or other messaging channels.
This Policy applies to information collected through our website, our sales and customer communications (including phone, email and WhatsApp), and any other interactions you have with Sunniva Encon LLP. By using our services or contacting us through these channels, you agree to the practices described here.
1.Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact and identity information — name, company name, designation, phone number, email address and postal address, typically provided when you enquire about our products, request a quotation, or engage us as a customer, vendor, or channel partner.
- Transactional information — order details, billing and shipping information, service history, and communications relating to installation, AMC, or warranty support.
- Communications data — the content of messages, emails, or calls you exchange with us, including messages sent or received via WhatsApp Business Messaging.
- Technical information — if you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, typically through cookies or similar technologies.
2.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders;
- Provide product information, order updates, service reminders, and support;
- Coordinate installation, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), and warranty service;
- Maintain business records required for accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance;
- Improve our products, services, and customer communication; and
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from public authorities.
3.Communicating With Us on WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform to communicate with customers who choose to reach us, or agree to be contacted, on WhatsApp — for example, to share product information, quotations, order updates, or service and AMC reminders.
When you message us on WhatsApp or opt in to receive WhatsApp messages from us, your messages and related account information (such as your WhatsApp phone number) are processed through WhatsApp/Meta's infrastructure in order to deliver our communication to you. This processing is subject to WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, in addition to this Policy. We do not control how Meta/WhatsApp itself processes data on its platform.
You may stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by replying “STOP”, blocking our business number, or contacting us using the details in Section 9 below.
4.Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers who support our operations — for example, WhatsApp/Meta (for messaging), logistics and installation partners, IT and cloud service providers, and payment processors — solely to the extent necessary to provide our services to you;
- Authorised channel partners and service centres, where necessary to fulfil installation, service, or AMC obligations at your location;
- Government authorities or regulators, where required under applicable law, legal process, or to protect our legal rights; and
- Successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to equivalent confidentiality protections.
5.Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, warranty, or reporting requirements. Where information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
6.Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7.Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and legitimate business retention requirements;
- Withdraw consent to marketing or WhatsApp communications at any time; and
- Raise a concern with us, or with a relevant data protection authority, regarding our handling of your information.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 9.
8.Children's Privacy
Our products and services are intended for businesses, institutions, and adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
